Overview
You are adding a Golf Course to the CMS dashboard, but when trying to upload a CSV file with the course details is not possible as the dashboard seems not to accept the file.
Solution
Note: the CSV template can only be used to add a new Golf Course. It cannot be used to add holes to an existing golf course.
To upload the CSV file, please perform the steps below:
- Download the CSV file template attached to this article, and edit it according to your Golf Course characteristics.
1a. Ensure to fill in all details - even if the handicap is not entered, the holes won't show up in the golf course.
1b. To get the Front of Green/Middle of Green/Back of Green Coordinates, you can get the directions from the Golf Course website and use Google Maps to pull the exact coordinates for each hole. - Open the CMS, navigate to Build > Features, and select the Golf Course feature.
- Drag the edited CSV file to the 'Drag CSV file here' dialog box.
- The new Golf Course should appear on the Golf Course feature page. Click on the Pencil/Notepad symbols to edit the course or any of its holes, and then click the 'Save' button at the top-right corner.
Testing
You can check the newly added Golf Course using the online Preview App.
