Overview
You have built a Food Ordering app with Takeout and/or Delivery option(s) but are not receiving order confirmation emails after orders are placed to the Admin Receipt email address.
Solution
Verify that the email address or addresses you entered are valid.
- In the CMS, navigate to Build > Features > Take Out (Food Ordering) or Delivery (Food Ordering)
NOTE: If your app uses both features, check each one - Click the Admin Receipt tab and verify that the Admin Email contains a valid email address for your account. e.g. mytakeoutapp@gmail.co needs to be corrected to mytakeoutapp@gmail.com
NOTE: You can enter multiple email addresses separated by commas to send the order confirmation to multiple addresses at once. e.g. mytakeoutapp@gmail.com, manager@gmail.com, etc.
Once the Admin Email address has a complete and valid email address, order confirmations should be received after orders are placed.
Testing
- Place a test order through your app for Takeout, Delivery, or both, as applicable to your app
You should receive the order confirmation email at the Admin Email address or addresses specified. If the email addresses are complete and valid - you can send and receive messages from the account - then there may be other issues that are preventing your order confirmations from being sent.
