The grace period kicks in when a scheduled payment has been not been made and thus it has not been processed. This article provides details about the payment grace period.
The account grace period is 16 days. That is, you have 16 calendar days (after the scheduled payment date) to proceed with the payment so that your account will still be fully functional.
If you haven't made a payment after 16 days from the scheduled payment date, your account (including your apps) will be deactivated.
