BiznessApps platform allows for the integration with your Google Maps by the use of a License API key. A Google Maps License allows you to utilize map data for location-based features in your applications. This article provides information on how you can use your Google Maps License API key to integrate Google Maps with your account and your apps.
When you are using custom PWA domains or you have a specific client Panel domain, you will need to use your Google Maps License API Key so your app can fetch data from Google Maps and present it to your users.
- You should have already got your Google Maps License API Key
To integrate Google Maps into your partner account you need to add your Google Maps API key. You have two options:
a) Add it to your Partner Dashboard. This will be applicable for all your apps. Please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Settings and in the Maps Service option enter Google Maps Platform API Key and click Save
b) Add it to a specific app using your app's Dashboard. This way you will override the partner's generic API key (set in the way shown above). You may also wish to do that if you don't want to apply a partner-specific API key, so that only one app can take advantage of the integration with Google Maps.
Note: For the Individual accounts, the below procedure is the only option.
- Navigate to Settings -> General
- Enter or paste the Google Maps Platform API Key into the relevant field.
- Click Save on the upper right-hand corner.
a) On your Partner Dashboard navigate to Settings and check that under the 'Maps Service' Section there is an API key entry in the corresponding field.
