Overview
This article shows how you can use the Group Management Add-On to customize the invitation form you are sending to potential app users so they can create accounts for your application.
Diagnosis
You need to edit the content of the email invitation so that you can choose the wording of your preference. This way the prospective app users will receive the text you have selected to accept the invitation and proceed by creating their own account for their app. To check how this invite is sent you can check the Inviting a User to Create an App Account KB article.
Prerequisites
- You should have enabled the Group Management Add-on
Solution
- Navigate to Create -> Build -> Group Log-in and select the Custom Design tab and scroll to the bottom.
- Under the Email Invite Form section, click on the Customize button.
- Customize the content by using the Rich Text Editor and click Save.
Important: In the content, do not modify the Create Account button, which might result in the form not working.
Note: If you are a Reseller you can change the Email Invite from the Translations Page, too. This will be applicable to all your apps with the Group-Management Add-On enabled, unless you customize it on the app side (as per the procedure above) where then your customization will override the default email template.
Testing
The Email invite will contain the wording of your preference. Following the steps outlined in the Inviting a User to Create an App Account KB article, you can send an invitation and check that the content of the email is what you created in the last step of the Solution Section.
