Overview
While Building your app and having made your customizations, you are not able to click on the Save Button to save the changes you just made. This article outlines why the Save button is Grayed Out and thus Disabled and how you work around it.
Diagnosis
You tried to click the Save Button but realized it is Grayed Out (and thus disabled). Also, you confirmed that you've made a change since the last time you clicked the Save button.
The root cause lies in the fact that the user has not filled in yet all the required fields. Till all the required fields have a value, the Save Button will remain inactive.
Solution
The user should carefully check all the tabs in the Feature and ensure that all the required fields, that is fields that are marked with a red asterisk (*), are filled out.
1. Navigate to Create -> Build -> Feature of your preference
2. Ensure that all the required fields have a value. Make sure to check all the available tabs of that Feature.
For instance, in the Food Ordering Feature, you can see a list of tabs on the left-hand side and the user has to check each one of them and see if all the required fields have a value. In the following example the user has selected the Services tab.
Testing
Once you fill out all the required fields, you will be able to click the Save Button and save your changes.
