Overview

While submitting an iOS app on the CMS platform you received the error 'You've already submitted this iOS app.' This article explains why this happens and provides a workaround.

Diagnosis

You got this error message:

You've already submitted this iOS app. Please allow our team to review and upload your app. If you'd like to publish to another platform, please change your publishing selection."

This error is received as the iOS app was already submitted on the CMS side, but not published yet and thus you cannot republish it as the previous publishing procedure is not finalized yet.

Once an iOS app is published (submitted from the CMS) the app is transferred to the BiznessApps iOS pipeline. This is when we review the app and thereafter submit to Apple for you. Whilst the app is in the iOS pipeline, you will not be able to re-publish it (unless it is manually removed by Support) and if you try to do so, you will get the above message instead.

Solution

If you still need to re-submit the app, contact Support informing us about the required changes. Please provide the following information:

• Your partner name and email address
• appcode for the app you wish to remove from the iOS Upload Pipeline

The BiznessApps team will remove the app from the iOS pipeline giving you the option to resubmit your app on the CMS side.

Make sure not to delete the submission so we don't lose its history. Instead, change the submission state as noted in the Edit section of the Editing, Deleting Or Exporting An App From The IOS Upload Pipeline article.

Testing

If you decided that you wish to re-submit the app and thus have contacted Support to take care of it, once the app is removed from the iOS pipeline, you will be informed by Support to make the necessary changes and then you will be able to publish on the CMS side again. When you do so, you will not come across the "You've already submitted this iOS app." message.
