Upon redeeming a reward using the Loyalty feature, you got a 'Loyalty use is disabled at this time' error. This article explains why this occurs and how you can work around it.
When trying to redeem a reward via the Loyalty feature, you received an error message:
Loyalty use is disabled at this time
This error occurs when the sign-in options are not enabled under Settings > App Screens > User Accounts. The Loyalty feature has to be registered to a user account (eg Email) to be able to record and store user loyalty information.
Note: This issue is not reproducible on the APP PREVIEW.
Log in to BiznessApps CMS.
Go to Settings > App Screens.
Under User Accounts, enable at least one of the four options. In this case, Email Address has been enabled.
You will not be getting this error as the Loyalty feature has to be registered to a user account.
