While uploading your APK on Google Play, you got an error related to the APK version code and Permissions that require to have a Privacy Policy Set. This article explains why this occurs and how you can work around it.

Diagnosis

The error received is:

Your app has an apk with version code xxxxxxxxx that requests the following permission(s): 
android.permission.XXXXX,android permission.XXXXX. Apps using these permissions in an APK are required to have a privacy policy set. 

You received this error because it appears you have granted specific permissions to your app without having submitted the required privacy policy set.

Note: The error wording may vary slightly from the message below depending on the permissions requested
