Overview
You noticed that while browsing the app menu of your Progressive Web App (PWA) on an iOS device, the app URL is instantly displayed on the browser before you get the full-screen mode. This article explains why you cannot hide this URL address bar for your PWA unless you wish to downgrade to a version prior to 13.1.
Diagnosis
You will see the domain URL on the URL address bar while clicking on various menus of your PWA/web app on the iOS device, before you get the full-screen mode. For instance, you may come across an image like the one below:

Prerequisites
- iOS device with version 13.1 onwards
Solution
This is a strictly Apple feature to increase security. If you want to work around it you must downgrade your iOS version to a version prior to 13.1
Testing
If you do decide to downgrade to an iOS version prior to 13.1 the URL will not show while navigating around the menu of your Progressive Web App.
