Overview

You noticed that app icons seem larger or smaller when changing your homescreen background image having selected the Grid Menu. This article shows why this occurs and how you can solve it by changing the navigation layout through the Grid Menu in the Homescreen tab.

Diagnosis

Usually, the app icons appear larger or smaller when changing your homescreen background image, due to the navigation settings (rows and columns) for your Homescreen Grid Menu.

Prerequisites

Solution

1. Log in to BiznessApps CMS.
2. Navigate to Create -> Design > Homescreen > Grid Menu.
   
   
3. Edit the Grid Menu layout.
   a. Go to the Show Navigation with section and edit the Rows and Columns to change the way the icons are displayed. You have to try the combination that will keep the icons to their original size.

b. Click Save.

Testing

Having spotted the appropriate navigation settings (that is, the combination of rows and columns) your homescreen app icons will appear as they should and will not have a distorted size on the screen.
