Push Notifications are not received on Facebook when using the Post to Social Media option. This article explains why this Push Notification issue occurs.
You have first connected to Facebook and then selected Facebook option for Posting to Social Media (In the Manage -> Push Notifications -> Compose section),
but you realized that your push notification was never received on Facebook.
This happens because of recent changes in the Facebook API which are not allowing the BiznessApps Push Notifications to be received on the Facebook platform.
- Notifications on iOS, Android, and Web App platforms are working as designed.
- You need to connect to Facebook yourself as BiznessApps is not able to connect directly to a Facebook Page due to account restrictions.
The BiznessApps team is aware of this Push Notification issue and has initiated the review process with Facebook to resolve it. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an estimated date for when this issue will be resolved.
