Overview

Each application type (iOS, Android, PWA) supports a different set of features. If you realize a particular feature does not work for PWA, it might be due to that application not having that feature by design. If you are trying to find out the list of available features for an application type, then you need to review the feature matrix. See below the list of available features for each app type.

Solution

Check the table below. Therein you will find a list of features and the Devices they can be used on.

There are also two columns (the last two columns) specific to iOS Devices. Apple has strict review guidelines and as such these columns reveal possible reasons why your app did (not) get approved. 

Column Definitions:

• iOS: This feature is supported in iOS apps.

• Android: This feature is supported in Android apps.

• Web App (PWA): This feature is supported in web apps (PWA).

• Built-in Native Code: This feature was developed using the native code for both iOS and Android, as opposed to being a web-based feature.

• + Approval (iOS specific): This feature has a robust functionality that may aid in getting your iOS app approved.

• - Approval (iOS specific): We recommend deactivating this feature before publishing your iOS apps. Apple can be subjective in their reviews, and this feature sometimes causes rejection.

 The checkmarks (✓) indicate which platforms support each feature.
