We have been seeing a good deal of push notification issues this week, and it seems to be the result of a general communication gap between our platform and Apple's as a result of their system upgrades.
Q: What's the deal?
A: If this applies to you, you likely saw the APNs certificate error message when sending out a push notification from your client panel. The issue was solely with client panels—push notifications could be sent just fine from Reseller Dashboards and our admin side, which was the reason for some of the confusion with reported cases.
Q: How do we fix it?
A: The client panel issue has already been resolved! If you test again, you and your clients should now be able to send out push notifications.
Q: And if I'm still seeing the error?
A: If you are still receiving the APNs error when sending from your Reseller Dashboard or client panel, then it is most likely a separate issue.
Please shoot us an email with the app code and error message, and specify that the issue persists after the client panel fix. We can renew your push notification certificate to fix the problem. Keep in mind, it may take some time, as we have had a great deal of requests coming in this week and are trudging through them as fast as we can!
