Overview
You can set up monetized banner ads within your apps using the Ads section. You will need to register for an AdMob account to start (this account is connected to your Google account). This article explains how you can set up this feature for your app and test AdMob IDs.
Attention: AdMob is not supported from ver50.2 release onwards and as such the following process should not be followed. It is just supported in Android apps that have not been republished since June, 2018!
You can always create/integrate your ads and advertise them using links to features in the Carousel or Background images as well as adding external links using our Website feature. You can also allow affiliates and partners to advertising or special offer pages within the Info-Tier (eg Info-2-Tier feature).
Solution
Verifying Your Ad Unit ID
You can verify your Ad Unit ID with the Ads ToolBox app to confirm that you are using a valid Ad Unit ID.
If your Ad Unit ID fails the test, you can find more help directly with Google Ads Help.

You can also enable test ads in your ad integration during development so that you can click on them without charging Google Advertisers. If you click on too many ads without being in test mode, you risk your account being flagged for invalid activity.
Integrating an AdMob Ad
-
Log in to your AdMob account and select Get Started.
-
Search for an app to monetize and select Banner. Now you have a few options to customize your banner and the name to associate with the ad.

A screen pops up with the Ad Unit ID in bold; copy this code. This is the code you will use to integrate the ads into your app.
-
From the CMS, go to Settings > General.
-
Scroll down to the In-App Advertising section:
-
Enable the Show Ads Within Your App option.
-
Select the Google AdMob option from the drop-down.
