This article provides the details on how to setup a Subdomain with the Domain registrar 1&1.

Solution

Subdomain set-up is the first step in enabling your client panel, where customers will log in to access & edit their apps. The set-up process is straightforward and their service is reliable.

1. Create a subdomain to point at our servers via a CNAME record.

   Note: A CNAME record is a DNS record that holds an alias the domain should point to. By default, this is an A Record that points to the IP address of your 1&1 hosting package. If you are using the 1&1 name servers (DNS), you can change the A record to a CNAME record.

2. Enter the Host name (prefix for your subdomain; ex: hostname.yourdomain.com). Most people use "login" or "apps," but this can be any word you choose. Enter cms.mobileapphelper.com under the Points to field. Save your changes here and once more on the next screen.

3. Submit your subdomain URL (hostname.yourdomain.com) to us by opening a support ticket. Within 2-3 business days, your client panel login page will be enabled! See below for an example of an unedited client panel login:
