Overview
You have arranged to transfer your app to a Partner/Reseller account, because you
- own an Individual account and want to transfer your app to a reseller account
- cannot provide services to your clients anymore and decided to discontinue your account with us, but your clients still want to keep their apps live and supported by our platform
This article outlines what information you have to provide to the BiznessApps Team to request an app transfer from your account to some other Partner/Reseller account.
Note: If a specific Reseller Account is not designated, you can use the BiznessApps account as per the Transferring Your Clients To BiznessApps Account KB article.
Prerequisites
- Written approval (email or on the ticket) from both accounts, ie the account the app will be transferred from and the Reseller the app will be moved to.
Solution
Please raise a ticket with Support providing the following information:
- appcode(s) from the apps that need to be transferred
- your partner name
- the partner name of the Reseller where the app will be transferred to
- written approval/proof for the transfer from both yourself and the new Reseller

1. Create a new split ticket for the Billing Team to charge the Reseller accepting the Individual apps with $20 per transferred app. Transfer this ticket to the Billing Team as per the Escalation Process. In this ticket you can use the template below:
Hello Billing Team,
I'm creating this request on behalf of {!PARTNER NAME}
{!NUMBER OF APPS TRANSFERRED} apps need to be transferred to their account and thus they should be charged with $20 x {!NUMBER OF APPS TRANSFERRED}.
Can you please take care of that?

Notes:
- Replace
{!PARTNER NAME}
with the Partner Account Name/email and{!NUMBER OF APPS TRANSFERRED}
with the number of apps you that need to be transferred over to their account. - Proceed with the next steps only once you get Billing Team's confirmation.
2. (having received Billing Team's confirmation) Log in to the Super Admin Dashboard.
3. Search for the appcode as provided in the agreement. Click on the 3 dots, go to Edit > Info.4. In the Partner field, search and select the new reseller's name. Click the Save button to complete the app transfer.
5. Perform the same steps for each of the appcodes that need to be transferred.
6. Once done, inform the requester that the transfer is complete.

Testing
The transferred app(s) will not appear on the original reseller's dashboard and now it/they will be under the new Reseller's account.
