Overview
You would like to transfer an app from your Partner account to another BiznessApps Partner account.
This article outlines what information you have to provide to the BiznessApps Team to request an app transfer from your account to some other Partner/Reseller account or vice versa.
Prerequisites
- Written approval (email or on the ticket) from both that includes:
- The Partner Name and Real Name that the app will be transferred from
- The Partner Name and Real Name that the app will be transferred to, who acknowledges responsibility for the transfer fee ($20 per transferred app)
- The app code(s) that are being transferred
- Signatures of both Partners
- Date that the agreement is signed
- Suggested format:

- The recipient (target) account that the apps need to be transferred to has enough credits to host these apps after the transfer.
- Please refer to the Viewing App Credits article to view your remaining credits, and
- Calculate any additional App Credits you may require using the information in the Adding App Credits article and add sufficient App Credits accordingly.
Solution
This Solution applies to transfers between two Reseller Partners. If the transfer is taking place from a Reseller Partner to an Individual account, you can use the Transferring Your Clients To BiznessApps Account KB article to complete that process.
Please raise a ticket with support providing the following information:
- App Code(s) from the apps that need to be transferred
- Your Partner name
- The Partner name of the Reseller where the app will be transferred to
- The written proof of transfer between the Partners as described in the Prerequisites above

1. Escalate this ticket to the Billing Team as per the Escalation Process. The Billing Team will charge the Reseller accepting the Individual apps with $20 per transferred app. Afterwards, the Billing Team will de-escalate the ticket. Include relevant details using the template below:
Hello Billing Team,
I'm creating this request on behalf of {!PARTNER NAME}
{!NUMBER OF APPS TRANSFERRED} apps need to be transferred to their account and thus they should be charged with $20 x {!NUMBER OF APPS TRANSFERRED}.
Can you please take care of that?

Notes:
- Replace
{!PARTNER NAME}
with the Partner Account Name/email and{!NUMBER OF APPS TRANSFERRED}
with the number of apps you that need to be transferred over to their account. - Proceed with the next steps only once you get Billing Team's confirmation.
2. (having received Billing Team's confirmation) Log in to the Super Admin Dashboard.
3. Navigate to Apps menu and locate the app using the App Code the customer provided you with:
Note: If the Customer has neglected to provide the App Codes and simply provided a list of app names and the account they are associated with, you can change the search parameters by clicking on the Plus button, and selecting App Name and Partner Name as the search parameters.
4. Once you have found the correct app, select the App and right-click and Select Edit -> Info.
5. In the Partner field, search and select the new reseller's name. Click the Save button to complete the app transfer.
6. It is possible that the target/recipient account specified by the customer has insufficient credits to host these transferred apps. In such a case, you will get the following error message:
In this scenario, you will have to inform the customer that their target/recipient account has insufficient credits. You can inform them about how many credits they have remaining by accessing their account through the PROD Dashboard and then following the steps in Viewing App Credits. You can then share with them the Adding App Credits article so they can calculate and add sufficient credits.
7. Perform the same steps for each of the app codes/apps that need to be transferred.
8. Once done, inform the requester that the transfer is complete.

Testing
The transferred app(s) will not appear on the original reseller's dashboard and now it/they will be under the new Reseller's account.
