To install and use Private App Store apps on iOS devices, the users will need to trust the publisher of the app.
This article provides the process of trusting the publisher to install the private app.
Note: The developer name that appears in iOS prompts will correspond with the user's Enterprise Apple Developer account name.
Get the Private App Store URL and open the link in Safari on an iOS device.
Click Install Now. You will receive the Untrusted Enterprise Developer message.
For iOS 9.2 and above, Go to Settings > General > Device Management. Under the ENTERPRISE APP heading, a profile of the developer is shown. (Apple changed Profile & Device Management to Device management in iOS 9.2).
- Click the enterprise name that you see in the ENTERPRISE APP heading. In our example, it is Acme, Inc.
- In the next screen, click Trust "<Enterprise Name>" to verify the enterprise. In our example, clicking on Trust "Acme, Inc." verifies it as shown in the images below.
The BiznessApps partners can share this process with their clients, feel free to save the image below to send it to them:
Now the private app will be installed on your iOS device.
