This article outlines the functionality provided to resellers to customize the Client Panel App Builder (CMS).

Introduction

The Client Panel is the portal your clients will log into to access and edit their apps.

Customizing the Client Panel App Builder through the Reseller Dashboard gives you the option to control your client's App Builder (CMS) and make the system reflect your brand and allow clients to access only the features that you want them to see.

Some of the most important App Builder (CMS) features allow you to edit your client's Help Desk URL, images, color schemes, and accessible content.

Note: The customizations you will make appear in your rebranded Client Panel only. They will not appear when previewing the app through your Reseller Dashboard.

Description

App Builder (CMS)

1. Go to My Client's View > App Builder (CMS) on the left side of your Partner Dashboard.

2. Here you will see four tabs to configure your client's Dashboard:

   • Theme
   • Sections
   • Previewer
   • Login Page

We will go through the most common aspects when configuring your client's Dashboard. 

Theme

Here you can edit all aspects of the Dashboard Theme.

• Input a Title. This will appear for all your clients, so make sure it is general.

• Upload your Logo. This appears at the top of your client panel.

• Select your theme colors. The preview on the right changes as you select colors, so you can get an idea of how it will appear.

• Apply a default color theme.

Sections

Here you can configure the Header, Help Info, and the availability of specific features in the Left Sidebar.

• Add custom button(s) in your CMS. These button(s) will display within the Header.

• Choose a color for the links.

• Remove links for features you do not want your clients to have access to.

• If applicable, add links to your home page, customized help desk, etc.

• Disable the steps you do not want your clients to access.
  
  

• Change the Help Desk URL in your client's dashboard: 

  1.  Go to Sections > Help Info.

  2. Edit the Help Desk URL. 

  3. The default is our Whitelabel site (https://mobileappco.zendesk.com/), which contains knowledgebase articles only. Alternatively, enter your own Helpdesk URL.

Previewer 

Here you can do the following:

• Enable your Previewer.

• Select a background color, play button and loading image.

Login Page

• Customize your Login Page. This is where your clients will navigate to access your client panel. 

  • Choose your color set.

  • Upload a background image.

  • Add your custom HTML code (this is only recommended for very advanced clients).
