Adding a video splash screen gives your app that extra professional look. A splash screen, also known as a launch screen, is commonly found in iOS apps and other desktop applications. This screen is the first screen you will see when launching an application, which is typically an image covering the entire screen. The image disappears after the main screen is loaded.
This article provides the steps on how to submit video splash loading screens for iOS applications, including its requirements.
Note: This feature is only applicable to iOS.
|Length||Not longer than 6 seconds|
|File size||No limit|
After creating your video splash screen, submit it using one of the options below:
|Option 1||Send your video splash screen file to the Support team (including your app code) on or before your app's time of publishing.|
|Option 2||Provide a link to the hosted file (e.g., a public Dropbox link) in the Special Upload Instructions field of the publishing window.|
|Option 3||Upload the video splash screen file during the iOS Publishing process:
Use a video splash screen with a shorter duration. If the video splash screen has a longer duration, it can be an inconvenience to the users, and it may turn them away from using the app.
Do not use any Apple, Google, or Android logos, which causes the app to be immediately rejected.
