Solution
Follow the instructions provided below to move a Subdomain from an A-Record to CNAME in HostGator:

Log in to your HostGator cpanel.

Navigate to the Domains section of your panel.

Select Advanced DNS Zone Editor.
- Add a CNAME Record.

In the Name field, enter your chosen prefix. (Ex. login, cms).

In the CNAME field, enter cms.mobileapphelper.com.

Click Add CNAME Record.
Testing
You will have successfully moved your subdomain from an A-Record entry to a CNAME one in HostGator Registrar.
