Overview

Subdomain setup is the first step in enabling your client panel - where your customers will log in to access and edit their apps. If you have your domain registered with HostGator, please follow the below instructions to set up your subdomain.

Solution

Start by logging into your HostGator cpanel. Scroll down to the Domains section and select Simple Zone Editor.
Choose the Domain you wish to use from the list shown, then scroll down to Add a CNAME Record.
From here, enter the Name (prefix for your subdomain; ex: name.yourdomain.com). Some common prefixes are 'login' or 'apps,' but this can be any word you choose. Enter cms.mobileapphelper.com in the CNAME field and select Add CNAME Record.
