Overview
Many features have commenting capabilities that allow the users to engage with others after they log into their Facebook or Twitter accounts. A Social media login is required for user experience and accountability (users are less likely to post abusive/derogatory comments if their accounts appear next to them).
This article provides information on how the Post Comment feature works and explains how you can manage them.
Solution
Posting a Comment
- Click on the Post Comment button.
- Choose a login account.
Viewing Comments
You can monitor the comments in the User Comments tab under the relevant features within the Build step.
Deleting a Comment
To delete a comment > checkmark the box to its left > click the trash can icon.
Disabling the Post Comment Feature
App owners may choose to disable the Post Comment feature for various reasons, such as the app may not need the end-user comments, or the app owner may not have the workforce to respond or manage the user comments.
- Go to Setting > App Screens > scroll down to Social.
- Turn the toggle off for the option User Commenting Ability.
- Click on Save on the right side.
Testing
Once posted, the user's profile photo and name appear beside their comment within the app. You can also see this info in the Promote section of your app dashboard, where User Activity is located.
