Google Developer Account Shut-Downs

Last Updated: Apr 25, 2017 03:21PM PDT
There has been an increase in Google Developer Account shutdowns since Google has begun rejecting apps. This doesn't just happen on a whim, it depends on how many "strikes" you have against your account.

If this happens to you, here's how to handle it:

1. You will need to register for a new Google Developer account here. If you need instructions on how to create your account, check out this article

2. Once you have set up your account, you will need to upload all your apps as new apps in the Google Developer account. We will need to repackage the APKs for you in order for you to do so. Please contact support via email with all app codes that need to be repackaged and uploaded.

Note: This may take us a few days depending on how many apps you have, so please plan accordingly.

3. After receiving the repackaged APK files, upload the apps onto your new account. You can find instructions on how to do so here
